Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated
Quality Control Engineer
to ensure that all die-cast and machined components meet the required quality standards. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in quality inspection within a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry environment, preferably in die casting operations.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-process, incoming, and final inspection of die-cast components.
Monitor and maintain quality parameters throughout the production process.
Perform dimensional checks using instruments like Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and CMM.
Identify defects in casting (e.g., porosity, shrinkage, cracks, surface defects) and report them for corrective action.
Maintain and update QC documentation such as inspection reports, control plans, and rejection analysis.
Work closely with production and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
Implement quality standards such as ISO, TS, or customer-specific requirements.
Support root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols within the QC department.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of ferrous and non-ferrous casting processes.
Knowledge of die-casting defects and troubleshooting methods.
Proficiency in measuring instruments and basic metrology.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
