( Education : Graduation In Food Technology /Chemistry/Micro Biology)
Testing and inspection:
Conduct physical, chemical, and sensory tests on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
Regulatory compliance:
Ensure all products and processes comply with local and international food safety regulations, such as HACCP and FSSAI standards.
Process monitoring:
Supervise production lines and facilities to ensure that food is prepared and handled safely and consistently according to standard operating procedures.
Quality audits:
Lead and participate in internal and external audits of facilities and processes to ensure quality standards are met.
Problem-solving:
Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and lead the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of all inspections, tests, and findings. Ensure all quality control records are accurate and available for review by management and regulatory authorities.
Cross-functional collaboration:
Work with production, research and development, supply chain, and other teams to drive quality initiatives and resolve issues.
Training:
Train and mentor other staff on food safety and quality control procedures.
Skills and qualifications
A strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality management systems.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Proficiency in performing laboratory tests and using quality control equipment.
Ability to work effectively both independently in a lab setting and collaboratively on the production floor.
