The Quality Controller is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and evaluating the quality of raw materials, in-process production, and finished food products to ensure compliance with food safety standards, regulatory norms, and company specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and test raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products for quality and safety parameters.
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards (FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, etc.).
Record and maintain inspection results, test reports, and quality documentation.
Identify quality issues or defects and coordinate corrective actions with production teams.
Ensure hygiene and sanitation across all processing areas.
Maintain proper functioning of lab instruments and testing equipment.
Train production staff on quality standards and food safety procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree Food Technology/ Food science
1-3 years of experience in quality control or food processing industry
Knowledge of FSSAI guidelines, HACCP, and ISO 22000 standards.
Strong analytical and observation skills.
Good documentation and reporting ability.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, Word).
Work involves lab testing and production floor inspections.
Salary Range:
?15,000 - ?20,000 per month (based on experience)
