Position Overview

The Quality Checker Supervisor will oversee the quality checking process for shirts and ensure adherence to company standards. This role involves supervising a team of checkers, coordinating with the Senior QC and Finishing In-charge, and maintaining consistent quality throughout the production cycle. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in garment quality, especially in woven shirts, and strong leadership skills to guide the checking team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure

accurate and consistent garment quality

, specifically for shirts (fits, measurements, stitching, finishing, trims, and overall appearance). Job worker Visit and inspections Supervise and manage a team of

quality checkers

, ensuring productivity and efficiency on the checking floor. Conduct inline, mid-line, and final inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards. Coordinate closely with the

production Manager

and

Finishing In-charge

to ensure 100% quality and on-time delivery. Identify defects, quality issues, and root causes; implement corrective actions with relevant departments. Maintain inspection reports, defect logs, and daily QC records. Train checking staff on quality parameters, defect identification, and inspection techniques. Ensure products meet buyer requirements and internal quality benchmarks. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and reduce rejections.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum

2 years of experience

in garment quality checking (preferably shirts). Degree/Diploma in

Garment Manufacturing, Textile Engineering, or related field

. Strong knowledge of

quality standards for woven shirts

, stitching, measurements, and finishing. Ability to supervise and guide a team effectively. Good communication and coordination skills. Detail-oriented, disciplined, and committed to maintaining high quality.
