To strengthen our production standards, we are hiring a Quality Check Manager who will take complete ownership of quality assurance across the manufacturing lifecycle.
Role Overview
The Quality Check Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing quality control processes, inspecting raw materials, monitoring in-process quality during production, and ensuring final product quality before dispatch. This role ensures that all MEW products meet required specifications, compliance standards, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Establishing Quality Mechanisms & Processes
Develop and implement quality check SOPs for all production stages.
Create inspection guidelines, checklists, and acceptance criteria.
Set up documentation protocols for quality reporting and traceability.
Ensure alignment with industry standards and MEW's internal requirements.
2. Raw Material Quality Inspection
Conduct routine checks upon receipt of raw materials.
Verify supplier quality certificates and perform physical inspections.
Reject, document, and report defective or substandard materials.
3. In-Process Quality Control
Monitor quality throughout the manufacturing workflow.
Coordinate with production supervisors to ensure adherence to specifications.
Identify defects early and recommend corrective actions.
4. Final Quality Check & Dispatch Monitoring
Inspect finished goods before packaging and dispatch.
Ensure products meet all technical, safety, and durability standards.
Maintain dispatch-quality reports and approve shipments.
5. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily/weekly quality reports for management.
Maintain logs of material defects, production errors, and corrective actions.
Work closely with management to improve efficiency and reduce rejections.
6. Compliance & Continuous Improvement
Ensure compliance with internal and external quality norms.
Recommend long-term improvements in design, process flow, and material sourcing.
Lead periodic audits and training sessions for production staff on quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred).
1-3 years of experience in quality assurance or manufacturing quality control.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and QC tools.
Knowledge of inspection instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges, etc.).
Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
Attention to detail and a disciplined, process-oriented mindset.
