Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Incoming Quality Control (IQC)

Inspect raw materials, yarn, chemicals, and accessories as per approved standards Maintain inspection records and supplier quality feedback

2. In-Process Quality Control (IPQC)

Monitor quality parameters at each production stage (weaving, dyeing, printing, finishing, packing) Conduct routine patrol inspections and shade/defect checks Ensure adherence to SOPs and process controls

3. Finished Goods Quality (FQC)

Inspect finished fabric/garments as per buyer standards (AQL if applicable) Approve or reject lots and ensure proper segregation of non-conforming material

4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain quality records, inspection reports, NCRs, and corrective action logs Support audits (internal, customer, social/compliance, ISO, SMETA, etc.)

5. Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)

Identify root causes of defects Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for corrective actions Track effectiveness of CAPA

6. Training & Awareness

Guide operators and supervisors on quality standards and defect prevention Support skill development and quality culture on the shop floor

7. Compliance & Standards

Ensure compliance with company quality policies, buyer requirements, and statutory norms Support implementation of ISO / QMS procedures
Key Skills & Competencies

Knowledge of textile defects, fabric inspection, and testing methods Understanding of SOPs, quality tools, and documentation Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 / compliance audits Good observation, reporting, and coordination skills
Qualifications & Experience

Diploma / Graduate in Textile, Engineering, or related field 2-5 years of experience in quality control in textile manufacturing Exposure to technical textiles (IFR / FR) is an added advantage

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
