Job Duty Description:

To assess diamonds, looking for flaws and assessing cut, color, and clarity - ensures that the diamond meets industry standards. Ensuring the diamond's facets are aligned and polished to ideal standards. Knowledge to identify areas for improvement in a diamond for recut or recertification. Evaluate brightness, assess fire, analyze scintillation, evaluate proportions, examine symmetry, check polish, refer to the grading report.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Fluent in English and Hindi, with good communication skills for interacting with the team. Possession of Diamond Knowledge Certification from any reputable laboratory is an advantage. Passion for evaluating diamonds through rigorous inspection - examining the diamond for inclusions, blemishes, and other imperfections to assess their quality. Determining if a diamond is natural, synthetic, or a simulant. Experience with digital microscopes and laser confocal microscopes.
