The Quality Controller - Frozen Food Division is responsible for ensuring that all raw materials, in-process operations, and finished frozen food products meet defined quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The role involves close monitoring of production processes, hygiene practices, temperature control, and compliance with food safety systems to ensure consistent product quality and consumer safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and approve incoming raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods as per specifications.
Monitor production activities including processing, freezing, packing, and storage to ensure adherence to SOPs and HACCP plans.
Ensure cold chain integrity by regularly checking freezer, cold storage, and dispatch temperatures.
Conduct routine quality checks, sampling, and basic testing of products.
Maintain accurate quality documentation, inspection records, and batch traceability.
Identify quality deviations, report non-conformities, and support corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP and internal quality standards.
Coordinate with production, maintenance, and sanitation teams to improve quality and hygiene standards.
