Monitoring Production:

QC professionals observe manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to standards and procedures.

Inspecting and Testing:

They examine products, materials, and services at various stages, using tools like calipers, gauges, and specialized equipment.

Identifying Defects:

QC personnel identify deviations from specifications and report findings.

Recommending Improvements:

They suggest adjustments to processes and procedures to enhance product quality.

Data Analysis:

QC specialists collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Documentation:

They document inspection results, create reports, and maintain records.

Collaboration:

QC professionals work with other departments, like engineering and production, to resolve quality issues.

Training:

They may train other team members on quality control procedures.
