Job Description

Key Purpose



The Quality Controller is responsible for pre and post repair road test, final certification of work quality, performance and washing. He is the custodian for matching customer verbatim to exact concern replication and finally outgoing quality from shop floor.

Duties & Responsibilities



1. Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures to ensure that repair and maintenance services meet or exceed established standards.

2. Inspection and Auditing: Conduct regular inspections of completed jobs, ensuring adherence to repair methods, quality specifications, and manufacturer guidelines.

3. Defect Analysis: Identify and analyze quality issues, defects, and customer complaints, and work towards finding effective solutions and preventive measures.

4. Process Improvement: Collaborate with the Works Manager and service team to identify areas for process improvement, efficiency enhancement, and cost reduction.

5. Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to service technicians and support staff to ensure their understanding and adherence to quality control processes.

6. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of quality control procedures, inspection findings, and corrective actions taken.

7. Customer Satisfaction: Collaborate with service advisors and customer service representatives to address customer concerns related to service quality and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements in all service operations.

Reporting: Prepare reports on quality control findings, trends, and improvement initiatives for management review.

SKILLS Requirement



a) Technical

b) Road testing.

c) Concern validation.

d) Verbatim refinements post road test.

e) Explaining exact concern to Floor Controller & technicians.

f) Certification of vehicle performance.

Education



Engineering degree/diploma/ITI.

Training & certification of automobile courses

Experience



Minimum 3 years of hand on technical/shop floor experience in automobile industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
