Quality Control Manager - Railway Components | RDSO | IRIS | Lean Quality Systems



About the Role

(axle-mounted disc brakes, couplers, air springs, elastomeric pads, and other rolling-stock parts)

supplying to

Indian Railways, RCF, ICF, MCF, CLW, and BEML.



We're seeking a

Quality Control Manager

to lead all quality and compliance initiatives, ensuring our products meet

RDSO, IRIS, ISO 9001, and UIC

standards across every stage of production.

What You'll Do



Lead end-to-end

quality assurance and control

for machining, casting, and assembly operations, testing. Conduct

root-cause analysis (RCA)

and implement

CAPA

using 5-Why, Fishbone, and FMEA methodologies. Manage

incoming, in-process, and final inspections

using CMM, micrometers, gauges, and ultrasonic testing. Prepare and maintain all

QAP, MTC, WPS/PQR, and RDSO inspection

documentation. Audit sub-vendors and suppliers for

process quality, heat treatment, and material compliance.

Drive

zero-defect initiatives

through Lean, 5S, and continuous-improvement programs. Supervise

calibration, gauge control, and MSA

for precision measurement systems. Collaborate with design, production, and procurement teams to ensure consistent quality flow.

What We're Looking For



Degree/Diploma in

Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.

2-5 years of experience in

railway/automotive/heavy engineering quality control.

Strong knowledge of

RDSO specifications, ISO 9001, IRIS, and Lean Quality Systems.

Hands-on with inspection tools, metallurgical testing, and defect-analysis methods. Proven track record of reducing rejections, improving process capability, and meeting customer quality targets.

Age Up to 40 years

Located near Mohali , Chandigarh , Kharar or nearby .

Pay: ₹25,500.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
