The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, maintaining inventory accuracy by entering data and performing GRN punching in ERP, Vendor Invoice Documentation, and local transport arrangements, and ensuring the warehouse is clean and organized, and adhering to safety standards. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to supervise warehouse activities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving Goods:
Receive and inspect incoming goods for accuracy and damage.
Verify quantity and quality of goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
Unload goods using appropriate equipment and store them in designated areas.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excesses.
Storage and Organization:
Label goods with proper identification for easy retrieval.
Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) principles for inventory management.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of goods received, stored, and dispatched.
Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels and warehouse activities.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Additional certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
Experience:
Proven experience as a stock controller, warehouse clerk, or similar role.
Familiarity with warehouse procedures and best practices.
