Any graduate / Diploma Jewellery QC certification (preferred) Practical knowledge is mandatory

Job Purpose:

To ensure all

black items and finished jewellery products

meet the company's

quality, design, weight, finishing, and compliance standards

before approval for sales, dispatch, or customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities:1. Black Items Quality Check

Inspect

black items

received from manufacturing/vendors for: Correct design and model Weight accuracy Stone setting quality Soldering, joints, and finishing Identify defects such as cracks, improper soldering, uneven surfaces, or design mismatch Approve or reject black items as per company QC standards

2. Finished Jewellery QC

Perform detailed quality checks on

finished gold jewellery

including: Polishing and finishing quality Stone alignment and security Sharp edges, dents, scratches, or discoloration Weight tolerance verification Ensure finished items match approved designs and customer order specifications

3. Compliance & Standards

Verify fineness, hallmarking readiness, and tagging accuracy Ensure adherence to

company SOPs and quality benchmarks

Coordinate with hallmarking, production, and store teams when required

4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain QC records for: Approved and rejected items Rework and corrections Vendor-wise and design-wise defects Report recurring quality issues to the Production / QC Head

5. Coordination & Rework Follow-up

Coordinate with production, vendors, and craftsmen for corrections Track rework items and ensure timely resolution Support stores during urgent QC requirements

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of

jewellery manufacturing processes

Hands-on experience in

black item and finished item QC

Eye for detail and quality consistency Basic knowledge of gold purity, stones, and finishing standards Ability to work under timelines and pressure Basic computer knowledge for QC records

Preferred Profile:

Experience in

retail jewellery showroom or manufacturing unit

Familiarity with

customer order jewellery QC

Understanding of

weight tolerance and rework management

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
