Job Description

Core Responsibilities1. Quality Inspection

Conduct

incoming, in-process, and final QC inspections

. Check material dimensions, build quality, finishing, fittings, structural accuracy, and packaging. Monitor production stages to ensure compliance with specifications.

2. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare

QC reports

, defect sheets, and maintain records for audits. Maintain

checklists, inspection reports, SOP documents

, and daily QC logs. Report quality issues to the Production Manager for corrective actions.

3. Process Monitoring

Ensure products meet

ISO / internal quality standards

. Verify that workers follow

standard operating procedures (SOPs)

. Conduct

random quality checks

and ensure minimal rework/rejection.

4. Problem Identification

Identify defects, deviations, and process issues. Coordinate with Production/Design teams for immediate rectification. Suggest improvements to reduce quality failures.

5. Material & Vendor Quality Control

Inspect raw materials received from suppliers. Reject or approve materials based on standards.

Eligibility & Skills Required

2+ years experience

in Quality Control (Manufacturing / Fabrication / Kiosk / Furniture / Engineering industries preferred). Strong knowledge of QC tools:

5S, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, Check Sheets, SOP

. Ability to read

technical drawings

(if applicable). Good communication & reporting skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Basic computer skills (Excel, Word).
