Job Summary
We are seeking a
Quality Control (QC) Executive
for our
Steel Metal Fabrication Department
. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring quality standards across fabrication, welding, and painting processes. Hands-on experience with QC tools and inspection techniques is essential. Knowledge of welding or painting inspection will be considered an added advantage.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct
incoming, in-process, and final inspections
of steel fabricated components
Ensure products meet
engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
Inspect fabrication activities including
cutting, bending, welding, grinding, and painting
Perform
visual welding inspections
and/or
painting inspections including DFT (Dry Film Thickness)
Identify
non-conformities
and initiate
Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
Maintain
inspection reports, quality records, and checklists
Coordinate with
production and engineering teams
to resolve quality-related issues
Support
internal and external quality audits
Ensure compliance with
quality, safety, and process standards
on the shop floor
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree
in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline
Minimum
2 years of QC experience
in
Steel / Metal Fabrication Industry
Ability to
read and interpret fabrication and engineering drawings
Hands-on knowledge of measuring instruments:
Vernier Caliper
Micrometer
Measuring Tape
Height Gauge
Bevel Protractor
Experience in
basic Welding Inspection
or
Painting Inspection
Good knowledge of
MS (Mild Steel) fabrication processes
