Job Description

A Quality Control Officer for a PVC pipe manufacturing company would oversee the quality control process, ensuring products meet standards and customer expectations. This role involves managing inspections, testing, and documentation throughout the manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished products.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Establish and implement QC procedures:

This includes developing quality control plans, inspection protocols, and testing methods to ensure products meet specifications.

Manage the QC team:

This may involve hiring, training, and supervising QC inspectors or technicians.

Oversee inspections:

Ensure that all products are inspected at various stages of production to identify and address any defects or deviations from standards.

Implement corrective actions:

When defects are found, the QC admin will work with the production team to implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Maintain records:

Keep detailed records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and complete.

Ensure compliance:

Make sure the company's products and processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Key Skills and Qualifications:

Technical knowledge:

Understanding of PVC pipe manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and relevant industry standards.

Analytical skills:

Ability to interpret inspection data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.

Communication skills:

Ability to communicate effectively with the QC team, production staff, and management.

Organizational skills:

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.

Experience:

Experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
