Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Mechanical

Engineer to ensure the highest standards of quality in our bulk material handling equipment. The

ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, quality control

processes, and a keen eye for identifying issues in manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures for bulk material

handling equipment manufacturing.

2. Conduct inspections and quality tests on raw materials, components, and finished

products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

3. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and address quality issues

during the manufacturing process.

4. Analyse data from quality control tests and inspections to identify trends and areas for

improvement.

5. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of quality control processes, test

results, and inspection reports.

6. Train production staff on quality control procedures and ensure adherence to established

standards.

7. Investigate customer complaints and product returns to determine root causes and

implement corrective actions.

8. Work closely with suppliers and vendors to establish quality requirements and resolve

quality-related issues.

9. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality and

efficiency of manufacturing processes.

10. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to

quality control in mechanical engineering.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

2. 3+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in the

manufacturing of bulk material handling equipment.

3. Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials science, and

manufacturing processes.

4. Knowledge in Painting, powder coating, surface cleaning and machining operations.

5. Experience with quality control tools and methodologies, such as statistical process

control, root cause analysis, and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).

6. Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, schematics, technical specifications, Fits

and tolerances.

7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-

functionally.

9. Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.).

10. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

11. Certification in quality control or quality engineering is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?400,000.00 - ?800,000.00 per year
