Job Description

Urgent Requirement of QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER at cattle feed manufacturing industry.

:

To ensure the production of high-quality cattle feed by implementing and monitoring quality control procedures, testing raw materials and finished products, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory norms.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct sampling and laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process feed, and finished cattle feed.

Ensure compliance with nutritional values, physical parameters, and safety standards as per company and regulatory requirements.

Monitor quality at all stages of production - from raw material receiving, storage, mixing, and pelletizing to final packaging.

Maintain accurate records of quality checks, test reports, and compliance documents.

Identify deviations, report non-conformities, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

Work closely with production and purchase departments to ensure only quality-approved raw materials are used.

Ensure hygiene, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and food/feed safety standards are followed in the plant.

Support audits (internal, customer, and regulatory) by preparing documentation and test records.

Conduct regular calibration of lab equipment and ensure reliability of test results.

Provide training to staff on quality awareness, feed safety, and SOPs.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of cattle feed nutrition, raw materials, and additives.

Familiarity with BIS, ISO, HACCP, and other relevant feed quality standards.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in laboratory testing procedures and documentation.

Attention to detail with strong observation skills.

Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology, or related field.

3-5 years of experience in quality control within feed, food, or allied manufacturing industry preferred.
