Job Summary



The Quality Control Manager (Insurance Domain) is responsible for leading the quality assurance and regulatory compliance framework across insurance operations. This role ensures that all business activities, documentation, and communications meet internal quality standards, client requirements, and regulatory obligations--particularly aligned with UK insurance compliance practices. The position requires a detail-oriented professional capable of managing audits, reporting, training, and quality initiatives while driving continuous improvement and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities



Manage and maintain an effective regulatory compliance and quality control program across all insurance processes. Ensure the Quality Control Department operates in alignment with company policies, regulatory standards, and ethical practices. Conduct regular audits of operational areas, transactions, and communication to ensure compliance and quality consistency. Identify compliance risks, analyze operational gaps, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Prepare and present detailed compliance and performance reports to management proactively. Develop and manage effective action plans to address audit findings, process deviations, or compliance violations. Ensure all employees are trained and updated on the latest regulatory guidelines, company policies, and operational procedures. Resolve employee concerns or queries related to quality and compliance requirements. Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for UK counterparts, ensuring transparent communication and process alignment. Manage the design and delivery of initial and ongoing training programs for quality and compliance teams. Oversee the creation, validation, and submission of weekly and monthly performance and audit reports. Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of insurance schemes, ensuring compliance, market relevance, and profitability. Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, insurers, and key stakeholders to support operational and business objectives. Monitor scheme performance using defined metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure adherence to UK regulatory requirements and promote best practices within the insurance domain. Identify opportunities to enhance, innovate, or expand insurance scheme portfolios while maintaining compliance integrity.

Qualifications and Experience



Master's Degree in any discipline (preferably Commerce or Business Administration).
Minimum 4 years of experience in a

Quality Control / Compliance Management role within the Insurance Domain (Non-Technical)

.

Certifications:

ISO, Six Sigma (Green Belt), or PMP preferred.

Skills and Competencies



Excellent understanding of insurance operations, compliance frameworks, and audit principles. Strong leadership and people management skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Goal-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset. Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
