QC Manager

Qualification:

Diploma/Btech in Mechanical Engineering

Location:

Road no. no-5/A, Plot no. 24, Kathwada GIDC , Ahmedabad

The QC Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) for the manufacture of precision mechanical components used in aviation/aerospace and defence applications. The role ensures compliance with customer requirements, regulatory standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, NADCAP where applicable), and statutory defence regulations, while driving continuous improvement in product quality and manufacturing processes.

Role and Responsibilities-

Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in compliance with

AS9100 / ISO 9001 / defence quality standards

. Ensure adherence to customer, regulatory, and statutory requirements. Lead internal, external, customer, and third-party audits. Maintain quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and records. Oversee

incoming, in-process, and final inspection

of mechanical components Ensure effective

First Article Inspection (FAI - AS9102)

and PPAP/APQP activities where applicable. Monitor use and calibration of measuring instruments (CMM, gauges, micrometers, height gauges, etc.). Approve inspection plans, control plans, and quality check sheets. Evaluate, qualify, and audit suppliers and subcontractors. Manage supplier non-conformances, corrective actions, and performance metrics. Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Control deviation permits, concessions, and waivers as per customer approval. Ensure compliance with defence and export control requirements Maintain traceability, lot control, serialization, and configuration management. Manage document control and record retention as per defence and aerospace requirements. Lead, train, and mentor quality staff. Coordinate with production, engineering, supply chain, and customers. Foster a culture of quality, safety, and compliance.
