Job Purpose:

BBETTER Monksays Superfoods is dedicated to producing high-quality nutritional and wellness natural products. As we launch our new manufacturing factory, we are looking for a committed Quality Control Executive to ensure smooth production operations and uphold our quality standards. To perform and manage Quality Control activities related to raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, utilities, and microbiology, ensuring compliance with GMP, regulatory guidelines, and internal quality systems. The role also supports the establishment, qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), documentation, and product release activities of the QC laboratory.

Oversee sampling, testing, and analysis of raw materials, active ingredients, and packaging, ensuring timely release or rejection based on results and collaboration with QA Perform in-process quality control during manufacturing: monitor critical quality attributes, document findings, report deviations, and support production troubleshooting. Test finished products in accordance with standards, prepare and approve Certificates of Analysis, ensure regulatory compliance, and work with QA for final product release or rejection. Conduct water and utility sampling/testing per pharmacopeial and internal standards, monitor chemical and microbiological parameters, trend results, and support investigations of any deviations. Provide microbiology support by conducting viable count, yeast/mold, pathogen testing, environmental monitoring, media preparation, and ensuring aseptic technique with thorough documentation. Assist with QC lab setup, including equipment qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ), instrument calibration, and preparation/review of validation protocols and reports. Prepare, review, and maintain all documentation such as SOPs, test methods, specifications, and reports; ensure data integrity, participate in audits, and maintain all lab records. Ensure adherence to GMP, GLP, safety, and EHS guidelines, train junior staff, support teams, and continuously improve QC processes and lab practices.

Preferred Attributes

B.Pharm / M.Pharm/ M.Sc. Experience

2-8years

of relevant experience in the

QC department

of Pharma / Nutraceutical / Herbal / Ayurveda / Soft gel / Food supplement industries. Exposure in

Regulatory / WHO / ISO / AYUSH /Nutraceutical (FSSAI) audits

Special emphasis on

Validation of Lab Instruments, Equipment & Analytical methods

Experience in

new facility or lab commissioning

Familiarity with

OOS, OOT, and deviation handling

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
