Job Description

Technical Knowledge :

Strong understanding of mechanical drawings .

Inspections and Testing:

Performing quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to identify defects and ensure compliance with specifications.

Data Analysis:

Analyzing inspection data, identifying trends, and proposing solutions to improve processes and reduce defects.

Documentation:

Maintaining records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.

Problem Solving:

Identifying root causes of quality issues and developing solutions to prevent recurrence.

Collaboration:

Working with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to implement quality standards and drive continuous improvement.

Training and Mentorship:

Providing training to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.

Process Improvement:

Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing new quality control measures to enhance product quality. Familiarity with industry standards e.g ISO Knowledge of measurement tools & instruments E.g Vernier, caliper, micrometer, hardness tester. Minimum experience 1- year
