Job Description

The Quality Control (QC) Executive is responsible for ensuring that all products, materials, and processes meet established quality standards. This role involves conducting inspections, testing materials, monitoring production processes, and maintaining documentation to ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and test raw materials, in-process production, and finished products. Ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and safety requirements. Monitor and control processes to reduce defects, rework, and wastage. Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and records. Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Coordinate with production, maintenance, and other departments for quality improvements. Ensure compliance with ISO, industry standards, and customer requirements. Train operators and staff on quality awareness and standards. Support audits (internal and external) and assist in maintaining certifications.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma / B.Sc. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or related field. 1-3 years of experience in Quality Control (manufacturing/production industry). Knowledge of QC tools (7QC, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma basics). Familiarity with measurement instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Gauges, etc.). Good understanding of ISO standards and quality management systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
