and other precision instruments, to maintain consistent product quality and reduce defects. The position supports the Quality Assurance system by providing accurate inspection data and maintaining robust quality control practices on the shop floor.

2. CMM Operation & Measurement
Operate and program
Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
for dimensional verification of precision components.
Validate part geometry against design drawings and generate inspection reports.
Maintain CMM programs and ensure periodic
calibration and verification
of the machine.
3. Process Monitoring
Monitor production quality at different stages and ensure adherence to approved standards.
Identify process variations or deviations and communicate them to the production and QA teams.
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conforming products.
4. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate
quality inspection records, control plans, and calibration logs.
Assist in preparation of
First Article Inspection (FAI)
and
PPAP
documentation, if applicable.
Support compliance to
ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
requirements through proper documentation.
5. Supplier & Material Inspection
Verify quality of
incoming materials
and parts from suppliers as per specifications.
Raise rejection notes and coordinate with suppliers for rework or replacement.
Maintain supplier inspection reports and update supplier performance records.
6. Equipment & Calibration Management
Ensure all
measuring instruments and gauges
are calibrated and maintained as per schedule.
Report any malfunction or deviation in measuring equipment immediately.
7. Continuous Improvement
Participate in
Kaizen, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing
activities to improve product and process quality.
Contribute to initiatives aimed at reducing scrap, rework, and inspection cycle time.
Qualification & Skills Required:
Education:
Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years in Quality Control in a manufacturing or precision machining industry.
