Job Summary:
The Quality Shift Engineer will be responsible for the Manage /maintain the overall quality management system (QMS), Act as the primary person to lead /co-ordinate all aspects on QMS, Monitoring Quality Executives in IQC & OQA routinely, Reporting to the Quality Manager on all matters relating to quality and quality assurance, Co-ordinate all aspects of quality associated with their specific area of responsibility, Promote quality into all aspects of their area of responsibility, Conduct IPQC (In-process quality control) with in the company, Initiating for ICAR, Some supply quality management, such as qualification of suppliers, audit of suppliers, SCAR, Quality compliances, COC etc with the quality team with in the company, Work with teams on customer quality issues, such as RMA, quality compliance, customer audits, Organizing Nonconformance closure meetings. MRB (need to co-ordinate for the MRB meeting on weekly basis) ,Quality Assurance training for employee within the company, Other QA related functions /roles and /or assigned by the Quality Manager.
Responsibilities:
##Needs to have experience on ISO system.##Knowledge and experience in compliances.##Working knowledge of business systems##Leadership for the process robustness ##Strong knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (APQP),& Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)##Excellent Lean Manufacturing knowledge.##Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in order to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non # conformity relating to product, process orsystem.##Contribute to continuous process improvement activities##Experienced in quality of whole product life cycle preferred ##Excellent in Quality assurance and compliance with industrial quality standards/requirements; government regulations/compliance requirements on quality and environment, etc##Excellent in promoting the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Six-sigma, Poka- Yoke (Error Proofing), and Measurement System Analysis.##Need to have experienced in fiber optics and or optics .##Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
Required Skills and Experience
Qualification & Experience:
Candidate should be graduate in Electronics/Optics Engineering, with 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance in fiber optics field.
