Job Summary

:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Quality Control Engineer

with a strong foundation in

basic measurement techniques and instruments

. The role involves performing inspections, verifying product quality, and supporting the implementation of quality systems to ensure that manufacturing processes meet industry standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

:

Perform

in-process

and

final inspection

of components using standard

measuring instruments

(vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, dial indicator, etc.). Interpret

engineering drawings

and specifications to verify dimensional accuracy and tolerances. Maintain accurate

inspection records

and

quality reports

. Identify non-conformities and communicate effectively with production and engineering teams for corrective action. Support

calibration

and basic maintenance of measurement tools and instruments. Assist in

root cause analysis

and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues. Follow and enforce compliance with

ISO standards

, internal

quality procedures

, and

5S practices

. Participate in

quality audits

,

process checks

, and continuous improvement activities.

Key Requirements

:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or relevant field.

Basic knowledge of measuring instruments

and understanding of

dimensional inspection techniques

. Ability to read and interpret

technical drawings and GD&T symbols

. Working knowledge of

MS Office

for report generation and data logging. Strong observational skills and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

(Added Advantage):

Experience with

Quality Management Systems (QMS)

such as ISO 9001. Familiarity with

SPC

,

control plans

, or

FMEA

. Exposure to

digital instruments

, CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), or surface testing tools. Basic knowledge of

Lean

Kaizen

Six Sigma

concepts.
