Position Summary:

We are seeking a

QC Engineer - In-Process Inspection

with hands-on experience in quality control within

heavy machinery manufacturing

,

fabrication

,

component manufacturing

, or

assembly

environments. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet defined quality standards at various stages of the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-process inspection and monitoring of fabricated and assembled components as per engineering drawings and specifications. Perform dimensional checks using instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc. Identify non-conformities during fabrication/assembly and take corrective action in coordination with production. Maintain inspection reports, records, and documentation for traceability. Collaborate with design and production teams to resolve quality-related issues. Ensure adherence to ISO standards and internal quality procedures. Participate in internal audits and support external audits as required. Monitor and enforce safety and quality standards on the shop floor.

Candidate Profile:Qualification & Experience:

BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

with

3-4 years

of relevant experience in QC/QA in heavy machinery, fabrication, or component manufacturing.

OR

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

with

5-6 years

of relevant experience as a QC Inspector in similar industry sectors.

Industry Preference:

Heavy Machinery Manufacturing Structural Fabrication Component Manufacturing & Assembly Engineering Goods Production

Technical Skills:

Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings (GD&T knowledge is a must) Good knowledge of welding processes and standards Hands-on experience with inspection tools and instruments Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹11,610.94 - ₹25,000.00 per month
