About the Role



We are seeking an experienced

Quality & Compliance Manager

to lead institutional compliance, quality assurance, and regulatory reporting activities. Reporting to the

Academic Registrar

, this role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with

HESF 2021, National Code 2018, CRICOS, and AQF

standards while strengthening a culture of quality across the institution.

This position is based in

Kochi, India

, supporting Australian higher education operations.

Key Responsibilities



Manage and monitor compliance with

TEQSA, HESF 2021, National Code 2018, and CRICOS

requirements Conduct internal compliance audits and coordinate external regulatory audits Maintain audit-ready

evidence portfolios, compliance registers, and risk registers

Prepare and submit regulatory reports, applications, and notifications Support academic governance, policy development, and quality assurance processes Provide compliance training and guidance to academic and professional staff Liaise with regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders as required

Essential Requirements



Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Management, or related field

5+ years' experience

in higher education quality assurance or compliance Strong working knowledge of

HESF 2021, National Code 2018, ESOS & CRICOS


(OR equivalent national accreditation frameworks such as NAAC/NBA)

Proven experience in audits, regulatory submissions, and evidence management Excellent written communication and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical, organisational, and project management abilities

Desirable



Postgraduate qualification in Quality, Governance, Compliance, or Higher Education Experience with

TEQSA submissions or CRICOS audits

Familiarity with governance committees and board reporting Experience in private or international higher education providers Permanent full-time role
