Education:

Bachelor's degree in Food Technology / Microbiology / Chemistry or related field.

Minimum 2-5 years of experience in food production quality control or assurance.



Position Summary:

The Quality Incharge is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the quality standards of all production processes within the facility. This role ensures compliance with food safety regulations, SOPs, and company quality policies. The position involves monitoring product quality, conducting inspections, managing quality records, and coordinating with various departments to ensure the delivery of safe and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and maintain the quality of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.

- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, ISO, and company-specific food safety standards.

- Conduct routine inspections, sampling, and laboratory tests as required.

- Maintain documentation related to quality records, audits, product testing, and corrective actions.

- Investigate quality-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

- Train production staff on hygiene, quality control procedures, and food safety practices.

- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and warehouse teams for continuous improvement.

- Prepare and present quality performance reports to management.

- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are maintained on the production floor.

- Handle internal and external audits and ensure timely compliance.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology / Microbiology / Chemistry or related field.

- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in food production quality control or assurance.

- Knowledge of FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, ISO standards is mandatory.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and documentation skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Work Environment:

This role requires daily presence on the production floor and may include shift-based work depending on operational needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
