. The ideal candidate should have a sharp eye for detail, understanding of AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) standards, and be able to identify production defects to ensure high-quality finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct quality checks at various stages of garment production (stitching, finishing, packing)
Inspect garments based on company standards and buyer specifications
Identify, record, and report defects in stitching, measurements, trims, and overall finishing
Ensure products meet AQL standards before shipment
Coordinate with production and sampling teams to resolve quality issues
Maintain records of inspection reports and daily quality status
Assist in inline and final inspections
Provide feedback to tailors, pressmen, and finishing team for quality improvement
Requirements:
2 to 3 years of relevant experience in garment quality control (Menswear preferred)
Strong knowledge of garment construction, measurements, and finishing
Familiar with AQL inspection standards and garment testing protocols
Attention to detail and strong observation skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet production timelines
Team player with good communication and reporting skills
