Role Overview

We are seeking a City QC Head to lead quality operations for Fruits & Vegetables in Ahmedabad. The role ensures product freshness, food safety compliance, and customer satisfaction while reducing wastage and improving efficiency across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end quality control across inbound, storage, handling, and dispatch. Implement and maintain SOPs aligned with FSSAI and other food safety standards. Conduct supplier, warehouse, and distribution audits to ensure consistent quality. Collaborate with procurement and operations teams for product quality improvements. Monitor and act on key quality KPIs such as rejections, wastage, and complaints. Train and guide the QC team to uphold high-quality standards. Resolve customer quality issues through root cause analysis and preventive measures.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Food Technology, Horticulture, or a related field. 4-6 years of experience in QC/QA for Fruits & Vegetables or other perishables. Strong understanding of post-harvest handling, cold chain management, and quality control. Knowledge of FSSAI, HACCP, GHP, and GMP standards. Experience in vendor quality audits and warehouse quality processes.

Pay: Up to ₹700,000.00 per year
