Role Overview

The Quality Check - Interior Designer is responsible for reviewing, validating, and approving interior design outputs during the design phase to ensure accuracy, functionality, aesthetics, cost feasibility, and execution readiness before handover to the execution team.

Key Responsibilities

Design Quality & Compliance

Review layout plans, 3D designs, working drawings, and BOQs for accuracy and completeness Ensure designs comply with company standards, client requirements, and design guidelines Validate dimensions, clearances, ergonomics, and functionality Check material specifications for quality, availability, and cost alignment
Technical Validation

Verify modular kitchen, wardrobe, furniture, electrical, plumbing, and ceiling layouts Identify design clashes or execution risks before drawings are frozen Ensure drawings are execution-ready and aligned with site feasibility
Coordination & Approvals

Coordinate with designers, sales, estimation, and project teams for corrections Provide clear feedback and track design revisions until closure Approve final designs before client presentation / execution handover
Cost & Value Engineering

Cross-check BOQs to ensure pricing accuracy and margin protection Suggest value engineering options without compromising design intent Ensure designs meet budget commitments made to clients
Documentation & Process Control

Maintain QC checklists, approval records, and revision logs Ensure adherence to design timelines and SOPs Support continuous improvement in design quality processes
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in interior design / architecture 4-8 years of experience in residential interior design (design + execution exposure preferred) Strong knowledge of Pricing (Quotation), modular kitchens, wardrobes, custom furniture, and finishes Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and BOQ preparation Excellent attention to detail and strong technical understanding Ability to identify errors, risks, and cost overruns early

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?70,000.00 per month
