Key Responsibilities
Perform quality checks on
Fiber on Board (FoB)
and
F2 fiber design jobs
to ensure adherence to client-specific standards and engineering guidelines.
Review and validate
fiber route designs and construction drawings
submitted by field engineers and designers.
Use
IQGEO
to validate network topology, splicing plans, and connectivity paths.
Use
QGIS
to review geospatial accuracy, attribute data, and ensure layers align with client requirements.
Coordinate with internal design teams and U.S.-based clients to resolve quality issues and improve deliverables.
Maintain documentation of quality errors, track recurring issues, and recommend process improvements.
Ensure that all design submissions pass internal QC and are ready for client delivery without rework.
Work independently during U.S. time zone hours and manage assigned workload proactively.
Required Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in
fiber network QC
, with demonstrated exposure to AT&T, Lumen, or Brightspeed projects.
Strong command over
IQGEO and QGIS
for fiber design review and spatial validation.
Experience working with
U.S.-based telecom customers
and understanding their expectations.
Ability to identify errors in design attributes, fiber routes, splicing plans, and as-built data.
Strong communication and reporting skills to collaborate effectively with both local teams and overseas stakeholders.
Willingness to work during
U.S. time zone hours (Night Shift)

Preferred Skills
Familiarity with telecom design workflows such as
FTTH, FTTx, backbone builds

Experience with other telecom mapping tools or databases.
