We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Quality Assurance Engineer
to join our dynamic software development team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products by designing and executing rigorous test plans, identifying bugs, and working collaboratively with developers to resolve issues. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be instrumental in delivering high-performance, reliable, and user-friendly software.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning & Execution
: Design and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Manual & Automated Testing
: Perform both manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and/or desktop applications, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security tests.
Bug Tracking & Reporting
: Identify, report, and track bugs through the development lifecycle using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla). Work closely with the development team to ensure bugs are resolved in a timely manner.
Collaboration with Developers
: Work hand-in-hand with developers to review requirements, design documents, and test strategies. Provide feedback on software design and implementation to improve testability and performance.
Continuous Improvement
: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Contribute ideas to improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
Performance Testing
: Assess application performance and scalability using testing tools and work with the development team to optimize performance issues.
Documentation
: Maintain detailed and accurate records of test cases, test results, and defects. Ensure all test results and documentation are properly stored and organized.
Release Management
: Assist with release management, ensuring all software releases meet the defined quality standards before deployment to production.
