3) PDI Inspection
Key Responsibilities
Inspection of incoming raw materials, bought-out components, and consumables as per material specifications and purchase orders.
Ensure proper verification of material test certificates (MTCs), dimensional reports, and supplier inspection documents.
Coordinate with the purchase and stores departments to manage material acceptance/rejection based on inspection outcomes.
Maintain records of incoming inspection, rejection notes, and supplier feedback
Maintaining Calibration Records.
Help the R&D Team for any type to inspection related issues.
To check the Final Material before Final call of TPI inspection.
To Know all the Quality related Instruments with proper handling.
Lead and manage
final inspection
activities before dispatch of materials/components to ensure they meet all technical, dimensional, and visual standards.
Coordinate and facilitate
Third Party Inspections (TPI)
as per customer or regulatory requirements.
Act as a key liaison between the company, customer representatives, and TPI agencies (e.g., RITES, BV, TUV, LLOYD, DNV).
Review and verify inspection documents such as QAP, WPS, PQR, test certificates, and calibration records.
Prepare and maintain
Final Inspection Reports (FIR)
,
TPI reports
,
NCRs
, and
concession/deviation requests
where applicable.
Ensure timely resolution of quality issues raised by TPI/customer representatives during inspections.
Maintain records of inspection clearance, final documentation, and release notes.
Participate in internal audits and support continual improvement initiatives related to final product
