Job Description

The QA Engineer (Civil) will be responsible for ensuring that all civil construction works meet the required quality standards, specifications, and codes. The role involves preparing quality documents, conducting inspections, monitoring site activities, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor the

Project Quality Plan (PQP)

and ensure compliance with

ISO standards

and client specifications. Conduct

material inspections

(cement, steel, aggregates, concrete, etc.) and ensure they meet approved standards. Perform

quality checks

on construction activities including excavation, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, plastering, and finishing works. Review and verify

method statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans)

, and ensure proper documentation. Maintain

QA/QC records

such as test results, inspection reports, and calibration certificates. Coordinate with the

site execution team

and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues. Monitor and verify

third-party lab testing

for concrete, soil, and other construction materials. Raise

NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)

and ensure corrective actions are taken. Ensure adherence to

safety and quality standards

at all stages of work. Participate in

internal and external quality audits

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's / Diploma in

Civil Engineering

. 2-6 years of experience in

QA/QC for civil construction projects

(residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure). Knowledge of

IS codes, ASTM, BS standards

. Familiarity with

concrete mix design, reinforcement detailing, finishing quality checks

. Strong documentation and reporting skills. Good communication and coordination skills.
