JOB DESCRIPTION - Quality Assurance (QA) Officer

Position Summary

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Officer with hands-on experience in food testing

laboratories. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality systems, ensuring

compliance with NABL / FSSAI / ISO standards, and supporting laboratory operations through

documentation and audits.

Key Responsibilities

? Implement and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) as per NABL ISO/IEC

17025

? Preparation, review, and control of SOPs, manuals, formats, and records

? Handling internal audits, external audits, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)

? Ensure compliance with FSSAI, NABL, ISO, and regulatory guidelines

? Review test reports, calibration records, and validation documents

? Monitor non-conformances and root cause analysis

? Training laboratory staff on quality procedures and documentation

? Ensure proper sample traceability and record maintenance

Qualification & Experience

? MSc in Chemistry / Food Technology / Microbiology / Biochemistry

? 3-4 years of QA experience in a food testing laboratory

? Strong knowledge of ISO 17025, NABL documentation, FSSAI requirements

Salary

? 4.80 LPA to 6 LPA

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹480,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
