Job Description

A Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer ensures software or products meet quality standards before release. They identify and report bugs, design and implement tests, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues, ultimately improving the user experience. Key Responsibilities: Test Planning and Execution:Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automated tests to identify defects. Bug Reporting and Tracking: Identify, document, and track bugs, providing detailed information to developers for resolution. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle. Requirement Analysis: Ensure software requirements are clearly defined, understood, and testable. Test Environment Setup: Configure and maintain test environments for various testing scenarios. Quality Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the overall quality of the product. Skills: Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies (manual and automated), and relevant tools (e.g., test management, defect tracking). Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze requirements, identify potential issues, and troubleshoot problems. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively report bugs and collaborate with teams. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues. Example Tasks: Creating and executing test cases for new features. Automating regression tests to ensure code changes don't introduce new bugs. Working with developers to reproduce and resolve reported bugs.
