Quality Assurance (QA) Officer -- 0-4 years (FMCG / Food)

Location: Paota, Rajasthan (Rattan Organic Foods Pvt. Ltd.)

Experience: 0-4 years

Product lines: Organic juices, powders, edible oils -- manufacturing & packing

Salary: As per industry standards

About the role

You will ensure that our food safety and quality management systems are implemented and maintained across production, packing and dispatch. This is an early-career role with strong learning opportunities in GMP, HACCP, ISO/FSSAI compliance and traceability.

Key responsibilities

Maintain and update Quality Management System (QMS) documentation (SOPs, work instructions, logs).

Support implementation and monitoring of GMP, HACCP, and other food-safety programs.

Perform internal audits, vendor assessments and follow-up corrective actions.

Review incoming raw-material & finished-goods records for compliance.

Coordinate with Production, QC and Warehouse to resolve quality deviations.

Maintain traceability and batch records; support recall readiness.

Assist in FSSAI / third-party audit preparations and responses.

Train production staff on hygiene, GMP and QA procedures.

Record and analyze quality metrics and prepare periodic QA reports.

Required qualifications & skills

Graduate / diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Dairy Technology, Chemical or relevant discipline.

0-4 years experience in QA in FMCG / food manufacturing (preferred: juices, powders, oils).

Basic knowledge of FSSAI regulations, HACCP, GMP; exposure to ISO standards is a plus.

Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.

Good analytical, communication and teamwork skills.

Comfortable working on the shop floor and in a regulatory environment.
