The Quality Assurance Officer will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and maintaining critical quality documentation including Certificates of Analysis (COA), Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), Vendor Qualification (VQ) documents, and other regulatory records. The role ensures product compliance with applicable national and international quality and safety standards, especially in import and distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and issue
Certificates of Analysis (COA)
for all batches of raw materials and finished products.
Create and maintain accurate
Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
in line with GHS and regulatory standards.
Compile and manage
Vendor Qualification (VQ) dossiers
including audits, technical agreements, and vendor documentation.
Ensure all quality documentation complies with local and international standards (e.g., FSSAI, CDSCO, WHO-GMP, FDA, REACH, etc.).
Review and organize third-party test reports and ensure alignment with internal specifications.
Maintain an up-to-date documentation system for specifications, technical dossiers, regulatory submissions, and compliance records.
Liaise with suppliers, internal teams, and external auditors to ensure documentation readiness.
Support internal quality audits and customer audits by providing relevant documentation.
Assist in maintaining document control systems and ensuring version control of quality documents.
Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and update documentation accordingly.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
1-4 years of experience in quality assurance, regulatory documentation, or compliance roles.
Strong understanding of COA, MSDS, and regulatory documentation processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PDF tools) and document management systems.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the
nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, or import-export
sectors.
Exposure to international regulatory standards for raw material documentation.
