Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Quality Assurance Officer

to join our QA team at our Dewas plant. The ideal candidate will have a background in

Food Technology

and relevant experience in

quality assurance

within the food manufacturing industry, preferably in

wheat flour milling

.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain the

Quality Management System (QMS)

in the production facility. Conduct routine

sampling and quality checks

for raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods. Ensure compliance with

FSSAI

,

HACCP

, and

ISO 22000

standards. Participate in

internal and external audits

, customer inspections, and regulatory reviews. Document and report deviations, lead

root cause analysis

, and implement

corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

. Train plant staff on hygiene practices,

GMPs

, and food safety protocols. Coordinate with production, maintenance, and lab teams to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Food Technology

or related discipline.

2 to 5 years

of experience in a QA/QC role in the food industry (experience in a wheat flour plant preferred). Knowledge of

food safety standards

including HACCP, FSSAI, GMP, and ISO 22000. Experience handling

audit processes

(internal, regulatory, or third-party). Strong communication and documentation skills. Proficient in MS Office and basic QA documentation systems.

Preferred Certifications

HACCP Certification, ISO 22000/Internal Auditor Certification

Pay: ?250,000.00 - ?400,000.00 per year
