Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with ISO standards or other relevant certifications Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with QMS and recommend improvements Establish and enforce quality standards for materials, processes, and final construction outputs Prepare project-specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) plans Ensure all project activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and specifications (e.g., AWS, ASME, AISC) Supervise material testing, welding inspections, and structural steel assembly evaluations Oversee and document inspections, tests, and procedures conducted on-site and in fabrication facilities Identify defects or non-conformances, and collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective actions Maintain detailed quality documentation, including inspection records, test reports, and certifications Prepare quality reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders Train and mentor quality assurance and control personnel on policies and procedures Promote a culture of quality awareness across all departments Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and third-party inspectors to ensure adherence to contractual and legal requirements Address and resolve client concerns regarding quality promptly

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering Additional certifications in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) are preferred Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management within the steel building or construction industry; experience with Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) is an advantage Proficiency in quality assurance techniques, including Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Knowledge of international construction and fabrication codes (e.g., AWS D1.1, AISC, ASME) Familiarity with software tools for project management and QA documentation

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
