About the Role:

We are seeking a talented QA Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our e-commerce platform. As a QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You will be responsible for both manual and automated testing, collaborating closely with design, tech, and business teams.

Responsibilities:Manual Testing:

o Execute comprehensive manual tests to identify defects and ensure product quality.
o Create and maintain detailed test cases and test scenarios.
o Collaborate with development teams to understand product features and requirements.
o Report and track defects using a bug tracking system.Automation Testing:

o Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
o Create reusable test automation components.
o Automate regression testing to ensure product stability.Database Testing:

o Write database queries to validate data integrity and consistency in the database.
o Test database interactions and performance.API Testing:

o Test APIs to ensure they are functioning as expected and returning correct data.
E-commerce Platform Testing:

o Have experience testing e-commerce websites built on React/Next.js.
o Understand the specific requirements and challenges of e-commerce platforms, such as payment processing, order management, and inventory management.Mobile App Testing:

o Have experience testing mobile applications built on React Native.
o Understand the unique aspects of mobile app testing, including device compatibility, performance, and user experience.Cross-functional Collaboration:

o Work closely with design, development, and business teams to ensure product quality.
o Communicate effectively and provide constructive feedback.Logical Thinking:

o Ability to think critically and identify potential issues or scenarios.
o Develop comprehensive test cases that cover various use cases.

Requirements:Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. Experience with manual and automated testing. Experience with SQL and MongoDB queries. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and their specific requirements. Experience testing React/Next.js websites and React Native mobile apps. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Bonus Skills:Experience with testing automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress). Knowledge of performance testing and load testing tools. * Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
