Key Responsibilities

Lead the Quality Assurance (QA) department and oversee all QA/QC activities. Develop and implement quality management systems, policies, and procedures. Ensure compliance with ISO / TS standards and customer-specific requirements. Monitor in-process and final inspection activities to ensure product quality. Handle internal audits, external audits, and customer quality audits. Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action plans for defects. Collaborate with production, engineering, and suppliers to improve quality. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process quality. Train and mentor QA team members to build strong quality culture. Prepare quality reports and present KPIs to senior management.

Requirements

Qualification: BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering Experience: 7 to 10 years in Quality Assurance (preferably in machining, automotive, or manufacturing industry) Strong knowledge of ISO/TS16949 / ISO 9001 standards Good understanding of measurement systems, calibration, and quality tools (SPC, 7 QC tools, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, MSA). Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
