Job Title: Quality Assurance Executive (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Plant) Experience Required: 0-4 years Location: Kurali, Punjab Job Summary:
As a Quality Assurance Executive at our pharmaceutical formulations plant, your primary role will be to ensure that our manufacturing processes meet the stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements outlined in Schedule M of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our pharmaceutical products from production to distribution. Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Compliance: Regularly audit manufacturing processes, premises, and equipment to ensure full compliance with Schedule M guidelines, focusing on good manufacturing practices, premises standards, and equipment requirements.
  • Documentation and Records: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation and records as per regulatory requirements, including batch processing records, equipment maintenance records, and quality control tests.
  • Quality Control: Oversee quality control measures, including sampling, testing, and analysis of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure they meet predefined quality standards.
  • Training and Supervision: Train staff on quality compliance and supervise manufacturing and quality control teams to ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in quality processes and systems, and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality and compliance.
  • Waste Management: Ensure proper disposal of waste materials in compliance with environmental and pollution control norms.
  • Product Recall and Complaints Management: Assist in the management of product recalls and customer complaints, ensuring prompt and appropriate actions are taken to maintain product integrity and consumer safety.
  • Validation and Calibration: Oversee the validation and calibration of manufacturing and testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable output.
  • Vendor Qualification: Assist in qualifying suppliers and vendors to ensure that all purchased materials meet required quality standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in quality assurance in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred, but fresh graduates with strong academic records are encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with Schedule M of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act and other regulatory guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
