Job Purpose:

To ensure food safety, quality standards, and compliance with company SOPs and statutory regulations in the base kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and ensure adherence to food safety standards (FSSAI, GMP, GHP, HACCP) across the base kitchen. Conduct daily quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods. Verify vendor quality, incoming material specifications, and documentation. Ensure hygiene, sanitation, and personal grooming standards are followed by all kitchen staff. Maintain and update QA records, checklists, and reports. Handle non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Coordinate with production, stores, and procurement teams to resolve quality-related issues. Support internal and external audits and ensure audit compliance closure. Train kitchen staff on food safety, hygiene practices, and SOPs. Monitor temperature controls, storage conditions, shelf life, and traceability records. Ensure compliance with waste management and pest control guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Food Technology / Microbiology 1-4 years of experience in QA/QC within a bakery, food manufacturing, or QSR environment. Strong knowledge of FSSAI norms, HACCP, GMP, and food safety practices. Good documentation, communication, and coordination skills. Ability to work in shifts and handle operational pressure.
