Job Description

Responsibilities:

Material Inspection:

Ensuring that raw materials, such as fabric, zippers, and lining, meet quality standards before they enter the production line.

In-Line Inspection:

Monitoring the bags during production to catch defects early and prevent them from progressing.

Mid-Line Inspection:

Monitoring the bags during the packing Stage to check Carton Markings, Humidity, and Quantity/Quality

Final Inspection:

Performing a final quality check on finished bags before they are packaged and shipped.

Defect Identification and Reporting:

Identifying and documenting any defects or inconsistencies in bags or materials.

Corrective Action:

Working with production teams to implement corrective actions and prevent future defects.

Quality Control Procedures:

Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures, including sample testing and visual inspections.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate records of inspections, testing results, and corrective actions.

Supplier Communication:

Communicating with Merchants and the Purchase team regarding quality issues and ensuring they meet required standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

Basic understanding of quality control principles and techniques.

Familiarity with textile materials and bag construction.

Good attention to detail and ability to identify defects.

Ability to read and interpret specifications and quality standards.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Knowledge of quality control tools and equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:

Quality assurance: 5 years (Required) Garments industry: 5 years (Required)
