We are looking for a skilled

Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

with 3-4 years of experience in

automation, functional, and performance testing

. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in

Java, Selenium, and API testing

, along with hands-on exposure to

CI/CD pipelines, database testing, and test management tools

. This role involves building and maintaining robust test automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and collaborating closely with development and QA teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using

Java and Selenium

. Perform

functional, regression, integration, and API testing

(REST/SOAP). Collaborate with developers and DevOps to integrate automated tests within

CI/CD pipelines

. Conduct

database validation

using SQL to ensure data integrity. Execute and analyze

performance tests

to identify bottlenecks. Use

JIRA

for defect tracking, reporting, and project collaboration. Participate in test planning, review sessions, and Agile ceremonies. Drive continuous improvements in automation and testing practices.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in

Java

and test automation with

Selenium WebDriver

. Hands-on experience in

API testing

(Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools). Experience with

CI/CD tools

(Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.). Strong knowledge of

SQL

and database testing. Familiarity with

performance testing tools

(JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.). Working knowledge of

JIRA

or other test management/defect tracking tools. Solid understanding of

Agile, SDLC, and STLC

processes.
