Position: Quality Assurance Engineer / Executive

Experience: 2-3 Years

Location: Umbergaon-Vapi

Department: Quality

Reports To: QA/QC Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking a QA Engineer/Executive with 2-3 years of experience to oversee quality checks

of incoming materials from vendors. The ideal candidate should have a sound understanding of

fabrication standards and mechanical inspection methods relevant to an OEM environment.

Key Responsibilities:


Inspect incoming materials and components as per drawings and specifications.


Review and verify material test certificates, dimensional reports, and documentation.


Maintain inspection records and prepare NCRs for deviations or rejections.


Coordinate with vendors on quality concerns and ensure timely resolution.


Assist in vendor evaluation based on quality performance.


Support implementation of QA procedures and continuous improvement practices.


Participate in internal audits and compliance activities.

Skills & Requirements:


Good knowledge of mechanical drawings and inspection instruments.


Familiarity with welding standards, fabrication processes, and materials like SS/MS.


Proficient in MS Excel and basic ERP documentation.


Strong attention to detail with problem-solving ability.


Effective communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications:


Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical/ Chemical / Production / Industrial Engineering.
