Position: Quality Assurance Engineer / Executive

Experience: 2-3 Years

Location: Umbergaon-Vapi

Department: Quality

Reports To: QA/QC Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking a QA Engineer/Executive with 2-3 years of experience to oversee quality checks

of incoming materials from vendors. The ideal candidate should have a sound understanding of

fabrication standards and mechanical inspection methods relevant to an OEM environment.

Key Responsibilities:

? Inspect incoming materials and components as per drawings and specifications.

? Review and verify material test certificates, dimensional reports, and documentation.

? Maintain inspection records and prepare NCRs for deviations or rejections.

? Coordinate with vendors on quality concerns and ensure timely resolution.

? Assist in vendor evaluation based on quality performance.

? Support implementation of QA procedures and continuous improvement practices.

? Participate in internal audits and compliance activities.

Skills & Requirements:

? Good knowledge of mechanical drawings and inspection instruments.

? Familiarity with welding standards, fabrication processes, and materials like SS/MS.

? Proficient in MS Excel and basic ERP documentation.

? Strong attention to detail with problem-solving ability.

? Effective communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications:

? Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical/ Chemical / Production / Industrial Engineering.
