Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection processes.
Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
Conduct product inspections and testing at various stages of the production cycle.
Maintain quality documentation including test reports, inspection records, and non-conformance reports.
Identify root causes of quality issues and work with cross-functional teams to drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality concerns and ensure incoming material quality.
Support audits (internal and external) and maintain relevant certifications (ISO, etc.).
Train production staff on quality standards and best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
1-3 years of experience in a QA/QC role in a manufacturing setup (freshers can be considered for Junior QA roles).
Familiarity with quality tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis.
Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic data analysis.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in product-based industries (e.g., mattresses, furniture, consumer durables, etc.).
Exposure to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
